Model Fittings for Utah Pacific Fashion Show 2023

It was an exciting experience for our MENA team to attend the Utah Pacific Fashion Show for its inaugural show in July 2023.  It was our first trip business trip out of the country since covid. We were so grateful after a long 18 hour flight to be greeted at the airport in Salt Lake City by two of the UPF Directors Afa Ah Loo and Ben-jamin Powell. Afa, Benjamin and the wider team were so hospitable and did an amazing job hosting us all.

The day after our arrival, we had model fittings scheduled. This can be a nerve-wracking time to fit the models for the first time. Fortunately, everything went smoothly, and the dresses looked stunning on the models.

It was a delight to see a diverse group of local and international Pacific designers from Samoa, Fiji, and Tonga at the event. The lineup of models was equally impressive, showcasing the talent and creativity of the Pacific fashion industry. The team was inspired by the unique designs and cultural influences that were on display.

A special shoutout to all the founders and organisers of the Utah Pacific Fashion Show for putting together such a seamless event for all the designers. Their hard work and dedication ensured that the show ran smoothly, allowing the designers to showcase their creations in the best possible light. We were grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a prestigious event.
