Being on a breakfast tv show in Utah was definitely one of the highlights of being part of Utah Pacific Fashion last year. We were so thrilled to be able to share our story and experiences with the team at on a lifestyle tv show called Good Things Utah.
Charlene represented MENA on the panel and she did such a great job! It was great to be among other talented pacific designers and creatives from Samoa and Fiji who we've known for some time. The interviewer Nicea DeGering was so lovely and engaging, she made everyone feel so welcome.
When asked about our journey and the meaning behind MENA, Charlene proudly shared our family's story and the inspiration behind our name MENA which of course is our mum.
It was incredible and at times emotional to hear from the designers about their experiences, the inspiration behind their work and what it meant to be showcasing at the first ever pacific fashion show in Utah.
Being part of the live TV interview was surreal, and having Hana, one of Mena's granddaughters, model our dress made it extra special.
A huge shoutout to the Utah Fashion Show team for this amazing opportunity to share our Pacific stories with a wider audience. Can't wait to see where this journey takes us next!
